Privacy Policy — TTV+ Tools

1. Overview

TTV+ Tools is a Chrome browser extension that enhances the Twitch experience with previews, player controls, sidebar features, and optional Pro features. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

• Extension settings — your preferences (e.g. enabled features, volume, quality) are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your device.
• License key — if you purchase a Pro license, the license key you enter is stored locally and sent to our license verification server (ttv-tools-license.donkarlos.workers.dev) solely to verify its validity and expiry date. No personal data is transmitted alongside the key.
• Purchase email — when you purchase via Gumroad, Gumroad sends your email address to our server to generate and deliver your license key. We do not store your email address beyond what is needed to send the key.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect browsing history, Twitch account data, usernames, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising.
• We do not sell or share your data with any third party.

4. External Services

• Cloudflare Workers — used for license key verification. Requests contain only the license key.
• Gumroad — used for payment processing. Subject to Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — used to send the license key email after purchase. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Twitch CDN — the extension loads stream previews directly from Twitch's own CDN (*.ttvnw.net, *.amazonaws.com). No additional data is sent.

5. Permissions Used

• storage — to save your settings locally.
• scripting — to inject features into Twitch pages.
• cookies (optional) — only used for the AntiBan feature, if enabled.

6. Data Retention

Settings and license keys are stored locally in your browser and can be cleared at any time by removing the extension. License key records on our server are retained for the duration of the license period (1 year) and deleted thereafter.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your license key data at any time by contacting us. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information beyond the purchase email (used solely for key delivery), no further data subject requests apply.
